ICYMI: The 2018 Honors Induction Ceremony

This weekend, a ceremony of incredible importance occurred on our campus.  If you were on campus, perhaps you saw your peers getting all dressed up this Thursday.  High heels, dresses, and suits and ties could be spotted all around campus.  Parents and families filled the Fine Arts Center, many holding bouquets of flowers.  This was for an incredibly decadent event: the 2018 Honors Induction Ceremony.

At this event, students were awarded for their academic success.  Students joined either national or international honors groups that are filled with students across the world who share the same passion and drive for their studies.  Many students joined an honors society that is affiliated with their major.  This was a interdisciplinary event; even though there were specific honors societies for communications, nursing, psychology, biology, medical imaging, and more, students from all majors could be seen.  Each honors society is unique, each has their own requirements and expectations.

This was a phenomenal event, as this is a significant honor for our students and our institution.  The success of these students shines brightly on them as well as Regis.  Inviting parents and family to celebrate the success of their loved ones made this event even more special!

Congratulations to all of our honors inductees!
