Campus Life

The Best Ways to De-Stress and Take Care of You!

Congratulations, everyone!  We made it.  Finals season is over and has been conquered.  Here at RegisLife, we want to congratulate every single student for their efforts for finals and throughout the semester.  Your hard work is noticed and it certainly pays off!  Below are three ways to relax after a year of school:

1. Treat Yourself

It sounds cheesy, but it’s true. Take a break this summer, you’ve earned it.  When you can, be sure to take care of yourself extra-well.  Go on a trip to Dumpling Daughter (let’s not lie, Dumpling Daughter is the best place to eat off-campus!)  Buy yourself that video game you’ve been hearing about.  Go see a new movie.  Do a little thing each week to take care of you!

2. Spend time with Friends and Family

There is nothing better than hanging out with people who love you.  This summer, be sure to surround yourself with positive and happy influences who ensure that all of the drama from the 2017-2018 school year just washes away.  Be sure to spend time with some older family members, and give them some extra appreciation this summer.  And, of course, have a lot of (legal and safe) fun with your friends.

3. Sleep!

We joke about it all semester.  Whenever anybody asks what your plans are over the break or long weekend, you’re supposed to sigh and say “Sleeping in!”  Well, guess what?  We’ve done it.  The semester is over, we have made it through.  Be sure to catch up on all of that missed sleep!  There is nothing wrong with having an “in-day” where you can focus on maximizing your relaxation.
